Child Safety Expert & Abuse Prevention Educator

In previous episodes we’ve heard stories of courage and bravery from Beck Thompson and Neil Milton whose childhood was stripped from them by predators.

Child abuse is a global issue affecting millions – the World Health Organisation last year reported one in 5 women and one in 7 men have been sexually abused as a child, whilst 6 in 10 children under 5 years of age suffer physical and or psychological violence at the hands of their parents or caregivers – that’s 400 million children!

The consequences of child maltreatment can mean lifelong trauma…and for some a life of violence.

Kristi McVee has worked with offenders and victims for over a decade with law enforcement. She now dedicates her life to providing valuable information designed to help you keep your child safe, through her book and as a speaker.

“In Australia one in 3 girls and one in 5 boys will be sexually abused by the time they’re 18. We teach children water safety, road safety, energy safety, and other safety, we need to teach them about body safety.” Kristi McVee
