Gen Z have the world in the palm of their hand, which has allowed them to create their own culture and explore the endless possibilities afforded to them through digital connection.
Born between 1997 and 2010/12, (there’s some debate about the cutoff) they’re generally considered to currently be aged 13-28 (2025). The first generation to be born into the digital age, this cohort have grown to be the most influential; culturally, economically and recently, politically.
21-year-old Gregary Burnsen-Hicks describes himself as a multi-talented, multi-faceted individual who likes to forge his own path, with multiple interests spanning entrepreneurship and philanthropy, something that he sees developing into the future.
Raised without technology or a mobile phone, his story is very different from the ones we generally hear about through media. He recalls playing with blocks and a chalk board, like many Gen X or Y children – something he credits his mother for. Instead, he experienced life and culture first hand.
Grounded in performance art, Gregary began in theatre as a young boy. Ice skating further honed his experience; however, it’s his love of acting and musical theatre that drives his creativity. In 2024 his GenZpreneur Live Show played at the Gatehouse Theatre.
