The very elements that support life on this planet are killing us – SLOWLY.
Last year I came across a question that stopped me in my tracks…
What happens when environmental toxins quietly alter biology across generations and why aren’t we talking about it more?
This question was posed by Veterinarian & Director of Future Fisheries Veterinary Service, Matt Landos in this episode he shares how his childhood environment, education, and lived experience shaped a path as a veterinarian working at the intersection of fisheries, environmental toxins, and human health.
Matt’s work spans aquaculture, wild fisheries, regulatory reform, and community education revealing how deeply connected our choices are across land, water, and generations.
We discuss why teaching children environmental values in the environment matters, and how the chemicals developed by humans to feed, clothe, and comfort the masses now poison our waterways, air and soil.
Ultimately contaminating everything and altering biological processes.
This episode asks us to reflect on the legacy we leave and the leadership we need to foster in our children.
